New Zealand Hector Dolphin

This is our New Zealand Hector's Dolphin.
They are ONLY found in New Zealand and so they are very special.
Too many Hector's Dolphins are dying because they are being caught in fishing nets.  So we need to find a way to protect them.
In this newspaper I found a story about how the Department of Conservation are using special  equipment like camera's and sensors to find out how many dolphins are being caught in nets.
Maybe they will stop fishermen using some nets in some places around New Zealand to help save this special      animal from extinction.
